seattle is a coastal port city and the largest city in the pacific northwest region of the united states. it is located in the state of washington between an arm of the pacific ocean called puget sound and lake washington, in king county - of which it is the county seat - about 96 miles south of the canada – united states border.
seattle is the birthplace of grunge music and has a reputation for heavy coffee consumption; coffee companies founded or based in seattle include starbucks, seattle's best coffee, and tully's. there are also many successful independent artisanal espresso roasters and cafes. researchers at central connecticut state university ranked seattle the most literate city of america's sixty-nine largest cities in 2005 and 2006 and second most literate in 2007, after minneapolis. moreover, analysis conducted in 2004 by the united states census bureau of 2002 survey data indicated that seattle was the most educated large city in the u.s. with 48.8 percent of residents 25 and older having at least bachelor degrees.
but then there's the other side of the tracks, so to speak. the kids who are only enlisted in college because their parents threatened to cut them off financially otherwise. but these kids aren't really concerned with getting high marks and passing, they're more into the night club scene, waking up in a strangers bed, and getting too high to even find your way to class the next morning, let alone take your exams. most of the young population are wash-ups and filled with wasted potential. outsiders simply can not understand how these train wrecks make it through the next day, let alone four years of college. these induviduals are oddly captivating, in addition to the pathetic states they're in. they give the middle finger to authority and quite honestly just don't give a fuck.
are you miserable and stunning?
