You are intoxicated by my very presence line • edward cullen, twilight tag • juleeees collins! word count • 349 status • done! outfit • here A blond headed into the cafeteria, her hair swishing side to side and a walk with such grace that would put any ballerina to shame. No, it was no Greek goddess – just Peyton Eris Pipes. It was pretty rare that Peyton ate at the school cafeteria during lunch. Why should she, if she could heat out and great better food outside anyway? But seeing that the clouds started to roll in, Pates was not in any mood to head outside the school premises. Well, it’s nice to have a change – eat snot-like food once in a while.
Most students talked of Peyton’s beauty and glamour, they always do. The only thing is that, Peyton does not realise the fact. Sure, she does love to dress up and put in effort to look her best, but Pates does not expect any compliments at all. In fact, it probably drove some boys up the wall - considering how gorgeous Pates looked, but never bragged about it. Call it her superpower, if you will.
So anyway, Peyton had her tray in hand and looked around, searching for an empty table. Again, she did not realise that almost every student there had hopeful looks that by some miracle, Pates would sit at their table. Well, it didn’t sound too nice, but not a chance. Lunches were meant for good friends, hands down.
As expected, none from her clique was in the cafeteria, so Peyton sat down at an empty table and started sipping her Coke. No, it was not spiked with alcohol like she normally liked it but Pates was satisfied enough. Looking about once more – she was starting to look like a freshman on her first day – Peyton swallowed the fact that none of her equally, if not more or less, glamorous friends were not going to have their lunch in the school cafeteria.
Damn, since when did nobody offer her a ride in their cars? Peyton would have had better company and food; not stuck alone in the cafeteria alone, even with other students dying to drag her to their tables.

Oh, hot damn, this is my j a m , Keep me p a r t y i n g 'til the am Ya'll don't understand, make me t h r o w My h a n d s in the a-yer, a-a-yer, a-yer.
It was strange for Julian Collins to be seen sticking around the cafeteria, unless he had stayed behind from the fun and games for a little smoke. Skillfully blowing out smoke rings, he grinned as one of the young, newer female professors walked on by and winked at him, believing him to be another professor. He had that air about him, of being older than he really was, and if you knew what he was thinking about most of the time, then that wouldn't be too far off from those of adult males. Flicking off the end of his cigarette, Julian held it in his mouth as he glanced around, before stopping and doing a double take as he spotted a flicker of blonde hair. Now, there were alot of blondes at this school, but only one had such grace to her: Peyton Pipes. There was no way of confusing her with someone else.
Tossing his guilty pleasure into the nearest trash bin, Julian reached up and ran his hand casually down his hair, before he headed into the cafeteria. It always smelled peculiar in there, because it was food that he wasn't too used to eating, or maybe it was just the way that they cooked it. He wasn't sure, but he wasn't in there to eat. Smoking seemed to satisfy any hunger pangs, so he just grabbed a bottle of water and headed towards the solitary table where Peyton was sitting. It seemed like all eyes were on him, those green with envy since they knew that he would be able to sit there without a second thought, while others couldn't because of an unspoken rule. Ahh, the grand scheme of things when it came to popularity.
Ehh, at least it favored him, which was all that mattered, to him, anyway.
Julian came up from behind her, taking the empty seat beside her without a word as he set down the water bottle before him. With a bit of a sly smirk to his features, he shamelessly looked her over for a moment, licking his lips as bit before he looked up to meet her eyes head on whenever she realized that he was there. He wasn't one for introductions, but he gave it a shot anyway. "Seems like the little lamb has lost her way?" he asked her, tilting his head a bit to the side as his eyes went to her coke. It looked normal enough. Grabbing his bottle, he twisted off the cap and took a little chug, before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small flask, but keeping it out of view, letting it sit in his lap. "Well, lucky for you, the big bad wolf is here to make things better."
